Alford Creek (E2-7)



Site Details
This site is approximately 30 km S of Rocky Mountain House. The site is a fisheries enhancement area where cattle fencing has been constructed along Alford Creek to improve riparian and instream habitat conditions. The creek provides good angling opportunities, primarily for brown and brook trout, as well as mountain whitefish. Lands surrounding the riparian corridor are privately-owned and Crown grazing lease; anglers and hunters must remain within the fenced corridor or obtain permission to do otherwise.
Restrictions
Day use only. No open fires. Foot access only. Obtain landowner permission before crossing private lands to access this site. Refer to the GOA website for information about public land use.
