Batty Lake Uplands (D4-44)


Site Details

This 144-acre site is approximately 7 km SW of Ashmont. It is 1.6 km E of Highway 28 and can be accessed from the N on Twp Rd 592 and from the E on RR 114. A 16-acre subdivision in the NW corner of the quarter section is private land and not part of the site. A small creek flows through the middle to the lake N of the site. The site is otherwise covered by a mature aspen forest with some small open fields near the creek. Wildlife in the area includes moose, white-tailed and mule deer, black bear and ruffed grouse.

Restrictions

Day use only. No open fires. Foot access only.
