Site Details
This 160-acre site was one of seven sites secured from the municipality of Athabasca. It is approximately 16 km SW of Meanook. Surrounded by 11,700 acres of Crown land consisting mostly of swamp and fen wetlands, the site itself has both upland mixedwood and wetland forest habitat types. There is no direct road access to the site; consult an Athabasca County ownership map for a suitable route to the site.
Restrictions
Day use only. No open fires. Foot access only.
