Jackpine (D3-111)


Site Details

This 150-acre site is approximately 19 km E of Smoky Lake along the N side of Highway 28. Mature jack pine dominates the landscape and trembling aspen, balsam poplar, birch, alder, willow and rose are also present. Wildlife in the area includes white-tailed deer, moose, grouse and waterfowl.

Restrictions

Day use only. No open fires. Foot access only with the exception of the designated snowmobile trails that cut across and border the site.
