Chip Lake Southwest (D2-2)


Site Details

This 303-acre site is approximately 125 km W of Edmonton and is situated N of Highway 16 on the SW shore of Chip Lake. The site consists of a sedge marsh extending W of the lake providing excellent habitat and cover for waterfowl. A small spruce forest in the upland portion of the site also provides excellent moose habitat. Recreational opportunities include hunting for waterfowl and ungulates including moose and deer, as well as nature viewing and access to fishing for northern pike.

Restrictions

Day use only. No open fires. Foot access only.
