Site Details

This 640-acre site is approximately 5 km W of the Pine Lake Community on the S side of Highway 42, follow Twp Rd 36-4. There is a limited grazing lease on this site. The site consists of aspen forest and wetlands. Various habitat enhancement activities including riparian wetland fencing, rock islands and duck nest box installation have ensured good habitat retention. Wildlife in the area includes white-tailed and mule deer, moose, elk, waterfowl and grouse.

Restrictions

Day use only. No open fires. Foot access only. Refer to AEP's website for information about recreation on agricultural public land.
