Mitchell Lake - Lake Aeration

Site Details

This 46-acre site is located approximately 19 km southwest of Rocky Mountain House and consists of a fisheries access site that provides sport fishing opportunities. Camping facilities, outhouses, and garbage bins (managed by AEP) are available. In addition, three floating docks and a rough dirt boat launch are available for public use. AEP stocks this lake annually with rainbow trout and brown trout and it is aerated during the winter through ACA's Lake Aeration Program.


This site is located within Mitchell Lake Provincial Recreation Area and is subject to its rules and regulations. No gas powered motors. Refer to the latest edition of Alberta Guide to Sportfishing Regulations.
