George and Joan Mitchell Memorial (D3-26)


Site Details

This 160-acre site is at the NW corner of Pigeon Lake in the Parkland region of central Alberta. The vegetation consists of mature native shrubs and grasses. Wildlife in the area includes white-tailed and mule deer, moose, black bear and grouse. Tide Creek runs through the property and provides important spawning areas for walleye, northern pike, spottail shiner and longnose whitesucker.

Restrictions

Day use only. No open fires. Foot access only.
