John E. Poole Boardwalk (D3-154)


Site Details

A new interpretive wetland boardwalk is open to the public, located in Lois Hole Provincial Park, at the E end of Big Lake. Be sure to bring your binoculars and camera as you explore the marsh on over 350 m of boardwalk. This site is host to a great variety of waterfowl, shorebirds, songbirds and insects. Moose, deer and muskrat have also been spotted in the area. Find walking access to the site from the Red Willow Trail system in St. Albert.

Restrictions

Day use only. No open fires. Foot access only.
